The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson, a business of NCS Pearson, Inc. ("Pearson"), respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Ohio Assessments for Educators website ("Site"), which provides information about educator assessments and related services. Except as noted below, this website is not currently designed to collect personal information from users, but inquiries, comments, and support requests may be submitted via e-mail.

Collection and Use of Information

This Site is not designed for the collection of information. The information provided herein is available for downloading for noncommercial purposes, as provided in the Terms and Conditions of Use. To the extent you provide Pearson with information during the course of an inquiry, we may collect such information in order to respond to the inquiry. We may also share this information with the state Department of Education, to which this website relates. Users of this Site may send comments, inquiries, or request support in using this Site by sending an e-mail to es-postmaster@pearson.com. We request that these e-mails include the following information: name and e-mail address, computer operating system and browser, and a description of the question or support needed. We collect and use this information to respond to the inquiry and provide support, to maintain our support records, and to evaluate and improve this Site and our services.

Personal Information from Children

This website is designed to supply information, and not for collecting information. This website is intended to supply these resources without collecting any personally identifiable information from students, including, but not limited to, those under the age of 13. Pearson will not knowingly collect, maintain, or use any personally identifiable information supplied by anyone under the age of thirteen (13) through this Site.

Information Sharing or Disclosure

Except for the limited exceptions set forth below, Pearson will not share with, or disclose to, third parties, the names of users, students, or other personally identifiable information collected through or in connection with this Site. Pearson may, however, disclose personally identifiable information:

  • To protect student or user security, or the security of other persons, consistent with applicable laws;
